Tschetter Group Tschetter Group Client Portal

Fall Greetings!  Was great to see many of you last week for our open house.  Like we shared there, it was less about the new office and more of an excuse to get together as friends and introduce some of our new team members.

On that front, wanted to take the opportunity to formally introduce Travis Bomgardner as the newest member of the Tschetter Group!  Joining as a lead client advisor, Travis adds significant strength and depth to our planning and advisory effort.  Over his nearly two decades in the investment industry, Travis has demonstrated immense care for others and a thoughtful approach to client relationships.  This, coupled with his considerable investment knowledge and expertise, has given him a remarkable ability to cultivate trusted bonds in his professional and personal circles.  We expect this will allow Travis to help us broaden and deepen our connections to business partners and the community at large at with his rich experience driving fruitful business to business partnerships and his engagement in local charitable organizations including Habitat for Humanity, Seattle Goodwill, and The First Tee.

Growing up in a small town near Breckenridge, Colorado (yes, not a bad gig!), Travis was the first ever from his high school to go on to play Division I football.  This is a credit to his intense work ethic and personal commitment to learning and improvement, a value we hold dearly at Tschetter Group.  While the Colorado Buffalos may have gone downhill since winning a Big-12 Championship with Travis in 2001 (unnecessary jab from a now PAC-12 rival alum), his trajectory has undoubtedly gone the other way.  We could make the case on professional accomplishments alone, but Travis himself would agree his best move since was marrying his wife Lacey six years ago on the Blackfoot River in Montana.   They’ve since made two wonderfully energetic additions to their home team in Issaquah, Brooks (4 years old) and Banks (1.5), with those adorable names aptly hinting at one of Travis’ favorite pastimes.  If you don’t yet know what that is, just give him a call and ask him… he’d love to hear from you!

We continue to aim at excellence in everything we do for our clients and there’s no more important task than building a capable and caring team that’s committed to making us better every day.  With the addition of Travis so close on the heels of significantly strengthening our investment team with Peter Jacobs, we can’t help but feel a growing wind at our backs as we continue to pursue this mission of giving people optimism about life and money.  And a wind at our backs is a wind at your backs… after all, if you’re not moving forward, neither are we!

Please join us in welcoming Travis as you have the opportunity.

With optimism,

Dustin & David

Throughout my entire career, I’ve been researching investments and managing portfolios, which is a passion, but the real joy for me is connecting that expertise and experience with clients through lifelong relationships. In other words, it’s the “why” and the “who” that turn my crank, not the “what.” Life is most fulfilling when I spend my time and energy in a way that is aligned with what and whom I love. I’m grateful to have that alignment in my work.
