Travis Bomgardner, CRPC® Advisor, CBDO
I spent the last 16 years as a Senior Regional Vice President with Transamerica. During that tenure I partnered with elite financial management teams throughout the Pacific Northwest as a specialist in advanced insurance & annuity planning and specialized in business development implementation. Six years ago my wife Lacey and I were married in MT on the Blackfoot river and now are the proud parents of two beautiful boys Brooks (4) and Banks (1). The opportunity to join Tschetter Group may have been the easiest major life decision I have ever made outside of asking Lacey to be my wife. The chance to officially become a part of this team, which I have long considered, to be the best comprehensive wealth management groups in the industry made my decision a no brainer. I have always believed that personal growth can be achieved by surrounding yourself with talented people who hold themselves to the highest of moral standards and that is exactly what being a part of the Tschetter Group provides me.

Optimism is a mindset created through preparation. I know that without a doubt that if I am present in each moment today, the outcome of tomorrow will be phenomenal. In short “preparation creates optimism.”
What excites you about the future:
Watching our sons continue to grow and learn each and every day.
What do you love about what you do:
I love to coach, educate and learn. The financial industry evolves incredibly quickly and I love the required challenge of staying current and learning continuously. I also love taking complex situations and finding simplified solutions.
Name one thing that keeps you up at night:
Outside of my two young boys, who don’t really like to fall asleep or stay asleep, there isn’t much that keeps me up. I do my best to maximize each moment throughout the day, so I typically sleep pretty well by the time Lacey and I finally get the boys down.
Who is someone you admire, and why:
I admire my incredible wife for her constant love, support and extreme thoughtfulness in all she does for our family. I also admire my mother who even through the most difficult of times approached each day with extreme optimism about life.
What are three traits that you think best describe or define you:
Dependable, Prepared, Honest
At the end of your career, how do you want to be valued?
By the type of father and husband I was. That is what drives me each day and will always be the most important gauge of success in my life.
When you’re not working, I’ll find you…
Spending time outside with Lacey and our boys, on the river fly fishing or the golf course.
