From America’s 250th to watching the world unite around a thrilling World Cup (despite our Team USA hopes being dashed once again after a strong early tournament run), it’s been an exhilarating July with much to celebrate. And through the first half of the year the markets also remain in a celebratory mood with most investment asset classes moving solidly higher, led by equity markets on the back of accelerating company earnings growth expectations.
